There's a movie I'm looking for. I believe it has Claire Danes in it. But, in her apartment, she has old windows and doors that serve as a divider. Anyone know what I'm talking about? The movie is High Fidelity! Thanks a bunch!

I saw The Lookout today (great movie btw) and I was wondering... does anyone know what the song was in the opening scene? I looked on iTunes and it only has the score. I feel like it is Songs: Ohio or Magnolia Electric Company or Broken Social Scene...its like a song that I have heard many times while my iPod is on shuffle, but never actually knew what the song was or who it was by. Any ideas?

I've been trying to remember the name of this TV show for over a year, so I hope I'm in the right spot! It must have been filmed around the mid to late 1980s. It aired on PBS, possibly made by CBC. It...of teaching kids things like the concept of clashing colors, optical illusion, and perspective. I'm pretty sure one of the segments involved the two students becoming "perspective detectives." If you guys can help me find this movie, I'll love you forever. Many years ago, I watched this movie on IFC. It was Spanish with English subtitles. It centered around two men who lived together in a house...couple is finally driven away, their child finds the two men with a small natural fountain of oil. I'm looking for a word that has somehow escaped me. It means when two facts or statements meet an impossibility. If I'm not using it correctly, I at least know it's used in an 'impossible' context.

I just saw a user icon that reminded me of a Japanese cartoon I saw a few years ago. The cartoon involved a little boy cat and I think his younger sister and they went through this weird dream or fantasy...younger sister cat was sick or she'd lost her soul or something. That's all I can remember. IIRC, there was no, or very little, dialogue, but there may have been some singing. EDIT: Found! Cat Soup

While having a long discussion with my best friend about the subject of various books we'd stolen from elementary school, it occurred to me that I do not remember the title of this book I once loved. ..... is all I really remember about it.
