So there's an interesting post on tumblr from taiey pointing out just how many of Clara's episodes feature her home/work life as well as her adventures with the Doctor - she tallies it as 75%... Have to say, thank heavens it was better than ep1. Not fabulous, but still watchable and entertaining. I have a little hope. I kind of want to slap the new doctor, but I think that's the point and it's interesting :).
A Rare Opportunity SPN/Dr Who. There wasn't much anymore that managed to fascinate Death everytime he saw it. A new regeneration, changing from one form to the next was always an experience the Doctor... With Timelords being nearly extinct in this time there would only be a few more opportunities to witness this. The eternal concept decided his break was over and concentrated back on his work.
If you're going to do a Dalek episode, then doing a remix of S1's 'Dalek' is an EXCELLENT choice. I loved that last week the threat was localised, the Earth wasn't in danger, just the people caught up...meet now, and he's been given a Tragic and Mysterious Backstory, and he has no idea about the Doctor yet are all good things to set him apart from Mickey and Rory so that's good. Also, Sam Anderson.
