So today I voted at an early voting location at the University of Utah. I wore my McKinney/Clemente button on my jacket: When I registered I was asked by a poll worker to remove my button. Of course...more than 150 feet away from a polling place, but may regulate their placement to protect public safety. Fight back against the lies and protect the fundamental rights of Californians It's time for Californians to fight back against the dishonest attacks of the "Yes on 8" campaign funded by the Mormon Church...Church to pass Prop 8 and dictate public policy to Californians. Sign on to the petition to President-Prophet Thomas Monson demanding that his church cease funding the "Yes on 8" campaign .

So, earlier this week, when I received my absentee ballot via the mail, I was reminded of why exactly I tend to request such ballots when I'm living right in the county: because it gives me time to process... what , exactly? Seems to me that there's just too many openings here that invite some form of abuse, cronyism and nepotism. Sorry, Avon Lake. The first part sounded good, but I call shenanigans

There are a lot of posts over at One Utah , many with real video footage, of rallies, interviews, and other events displaying racist behaviors towards Barack Obama. This is very creepy and, as Cliff Lyon  states in one post, ....this is NOT the country ANY good American can be proud of. We MUST ALL PROTEST! Now, I am really afraid for our country. ‘Whitey’ America is OUT OF CONTROL!
