It’s been announced today that actress Kuroki Meisa (21) is going to play the heroine in the latest play adaption of Tsuka Kouhei’s masterpiece "Hiryuuden", called "Hiryuuden 2010: The Last Princess"...lot more things." Kuroki said about her original intentions of returning back under the supervision of Tsuka. Performances will begin at the Shinbashi Theater of Tokyo in February 2010 . source
Director Mamoru Oshii's newest project is "Assault Girls," his first feature-length live-action film since "Avalon" in 2001. The sci-fiaction story will star Meisa Kuroki (21), Rinko Kikuchi (28),...DVD/Blu-ray Disc release event in March, Oshii said that he has plans for two live-action feature films starting this year, as well as one anime film in the 2011 timeframe. sources: 1 , 2
