I'm sure I had a bookmark saved that showed you how to match your sewing pattern when cutting out patterned fabric. If anyone can point me to the post (or any other advice/instructions/diagrams which are relevant) I would be truely grateful!

So, I replied to the spray adhesive question that I prefer hand basting, and her response got me thinking - I used to hate hand sewing too, and then a few people taught me a few things, and I made some...pull. Obviously, if this will eventually be a gathering stitch, don't backstitch, you won't be able to gather on it. So, what are your tricks and tools? What discovery revolutionized your life?

The mockup was right, I swear!  But now the underarm edge of the cup is biting into her, and the cups seem... not right...  Any advice out there for me? ?

I've had the simplicity 2890 corset pattern for a while. But I've got some questions about it. What are some common problems that people come across? Does the pattern have a lot of ease added to it? How...that right of the bat I'm going to have to take it down a to a 12 in pattern size. How easy is it do grade? Hows the shape? I hope that I don't sound to annoying, I just find this really interesting

I has a computer question for you ladies.... Okay I need a new computer and my limit is pretty much 600 bucks (or less) and I want it soon or at least before Cataclysm. I have no clue on how to build...the case is a bit pretty...a dark grey with blue lights...she says it's an Apevia case...but alas I can't buy a computer because it has a shiny case. Tell me ladies....yea or nay on this computer?

...patterns, but don't know where to start and haven't been able to find one with sleeves like in the photograph. I'm searching for a pattern with a similar corset style and the little 'sleeves', or advice on how to achieve those looks, I don't mind modifying and making numerous mock-ups just am totally lost on where to start. .I also need advice on attaching a skirt to the bottom of the bodice as...

I built a single layer mock up out of 14oz cotton canvas with twill tape for the boning channels using the instructions from Foundations Revealed. Initially, when I put it on it rode lower acting more...I'd like to be able modify other patterns based on this mock up ... maybe I'm asking for too much there. If there's anything I've missed on how to improve it,  I'm all ears. Thanks in advance.

It's a bit gaper at the top of the busk. How can  I remedy this? I think I needed to use a longer busk, but to sort out the gaping on this would a large hook and eye on the inside work? What woulod you guys reccommend? Should I just leave it?
