Mostly done with the painting of the house now. Still have to do the shed, but that'll be fairly easy as I can use the roller. I'm posting some before and after pics of the house below the fold.

...prices will jump by then. We probably have to find something this fall and start looking at something soon. The good news is that between the 2 of us we can put down a sizeable down payment, even after paying all the wedding bills. (especially thanks to the generosity of both of our parents in their wedding gifts) So there is hope for having a low enough monthly payment that we can still handle...
The hallway to my bedroom was narrow and dark, friends and guests had to be forced at gunpoint to go and have a look at that magic part of my house. For a long time I have felt like integrating the study...nook in the freed up space of the old hallway. Still looking for a nice little area rug.
