Amanda Palmer put on an amazing performance lastnight, I was in complete awe. She played very energetically for almost two hours. The opening act, Battle Circus, were alright too. "A one-woman machine...a penchant for the complicated, Amanda Palmer’s debut solo outing Who Killed Amanda Palmer (out now through Roadrunner) snowballed from a small idea into a project that’s nothing short of brilliant.
Amanda fucking Palmer. I just...it's so weird but I don't want to talk about the gig because it's like if I commit to words it won't be real. She and I had a moment. I was shaky, she stroked my hand...brutally ill. I threw up twice last night, twisted my knee and every breath I take hurts. >:( It was an exhausting, amazing night. I don't mind being ill, because I am just glad to have been there

I made dinner tonight. And it was damn tasty, if I do say so myself. It featured shrimp marinaded in a mango sauce and laid over white rice. And had bunches of veggies - carrots and zucchinis - sliced...and singing. Just for a few minutes. Like they know something is coming. }:> We're supposed to start a heat wave tomorrow. Probably can skip having the heater on during the day for the next few days
Birthday weekend is now officially over. And as to the picture.... that IS CALLUM BLUE holding a signed DVD of the new Dead Like Movie (which I've been waiting on baited breath for over a year and a half...were there tonight.
