I was at the beach this weekend with my boyfriend, my roommate (who’s also his sister), and his parents and while they were all reading books by Scott McClellan, Bill Moyers, or Christopher Hitchens...afraid that it would interfere with basketball. This leads us up to #77 Todd Runs Away. I have this book too and I don’t think it’s been recapped yet. I should get on it. P.S. Happy Birthday to me!
Elizabeth's valentine isn't Todd And she strikes again with TWO recaps in ONE day! Elizabeth and Jess both have on matching outfits. In the book they are just red sweaters, no hearts. Anyway...and Jessica find the cat perfect home for the cat? Find out in Sweet Valley Kids #5, JESSICA"S CAT TRICK. I might even recap a THRID book before my day ends. It'll have to be a SVK though..
The switch? It's not that great... Okay, the only people that I know are Jessica and Elizabeth. I think the one in that ugly green dress is Amy. Maybe it's Veronica... Correct me if I'm wrong...make up too and they're about to kiss when the twins need to switch back to normal. Veronica hooks up with Bruce. Veronica swears for revenge . There was no pool pushes. No cookie for ghostwriter. =
Sweet Valley Twins #82: Steven's Enemy So the book boils down to this: everyone's mad at someone, but no one punches anyone. I wish this book were called "Todd's Enemy." I cannot get over the cover...terrible secret is. It's this . Okay, so I might have gone overboard with the punching jokes. But when a book has that much rage in it, is it too much to ask for someone to get it in the eye
Oh Amy. Our resident bitch who is a victim of continuity problems galore... is apparently a younger sister! My apologies for the cover, it's the best I could find. Though slightly pixelated, it is a...Juliet on TCM right now. Gorgeous movie. Olivia Hussy is so gorgeous.) Outside of that, I apologize for my long windedness and hope this recap was satisfactory. Ta, ladies and gents (if we have any)
Hope I am not overloading with the recaps. I have one more to go (#69 hoot hoot! and then I am out of the ones I picked up at the used book store. :( Oh, well, I'll just have to get more!) Oh, and I added... YOU be the next Sweet Valley Reader of the Month? You have to write an essay and your essay and picture will be featured in the back of an upcoming book! Do we ever find out who these winners are
First things first - the cover: That's Elizabeth sitting in the giant chair, surrounded by indulgence, as Jessica sulks in the background. Both of them look vaguely inhuman. I also think it's a...next book apparently involves Elizabeth becoming addicted to some video game. This seems horribly out of character, and like a particularly annoying book. I’d love if someone recapped it.
Okay, in honour of Valentine's Day (a day in which so-called romantic deeds are done by men involuntarily to make shallow women happy), I shall recap the two-book SVT arc that is in honour of this important...to happen next? Is Jessica in for a wilder ride than she expected? Wait for the second book in this two-part series, The Boyfriend Mess , the recap of which I shall post in time for Valentine's Day
You guys, Regina's about to die! Part six SVH #36 – Rumours The Bridgwater Ball is coming up and Lila doesn’t have a date. This is a source of shame for her, as very few people... having read the tragic ballad of Regina Morrow, cries her eyes out. And puts her clothes back in her drawers. It's all poignant and stuff.
The actual "secret" between Ned and the Wakefield's and the conflict that results from it are really lame... which I guess is a good thing, because a dad going to these extreme lengths to keep something...is a language if your teacher knows it? Plus the twins have more "interesting" news to deal with: Mary Robinson's mother is getting married. Big deal, but it apparently sets the stage for book 13...
