I spent the afternoon reading some fantastic one act plays for a festival I'm auditioning for tomorrow. I was completely blown away by the cleverness of this entire concept as well as the phenomenal writing. I'm fired up about this audition now.

Sorry journal...I just haven't been inspired to write. Some things have happened since my last entry here on livejournal. I have gone to and returned from the Magic Flute experience where I sung Queen...week and it just snuck up on me! Holy crap, I gotta start practicing! I also signed with a company that matches music teachers and students so I can see what kind of voice teacher I'll make! LOL

 I just saw MAMMA MIA. Wow. Just... wow. It was sparkly. And established within about the first five minutes that not only was Tanya the role I was born to play... but also the person I will probably...last post, apparently, if you're interested... anyway, I kind of forgot my point. Hello, livejournal worlddd. So today I went shopping with my mother - we had decided I needed more "receptionist-y" clothes for work... seeing as how I wore cut up t-shirts and jeans for my last job ...at... so, as per usual, I'll just roll with it and whatever the director wishes to give me, I'll accept gracefully and have a blast with! The performances are early to mid September, I think.

I frightened our pair of doves as they were canoodling on the balcony this morning. I wanted to get some fresh air circulating in the living room and I opened the sliding glass door.
