Should have known those two jokers would do in forty-eight hours what the city couldn’t do in over a decade.   Hutchinson looks at the end of his rope—killing a fellow cop took it all out of him.  ...   Their eyes widen as I salute them, standing as tall and proud as I can. Starsky nods and leads his partner away. Elmo, if you’re listening, ask God to keep an eye out for them both, will you?

Under a cut because it's not work-safe, though it's not all that explicit either.   Beneath him, I feel his excitement by the power and depth of his strokes.   I smell his musk and it makes my mouth...knows how much it turns me on. But my favorite sound of all is that sharp, yipping bark that lets me know that he’s going for the moon and taking me with him.   I just lie back and enjoy the ride.  

If you listen to the rumors, my two best detectives have been shacking up since the day they met.   Sometimes I step in, and sometimes I don’t.   They’re grown men who can handle their own static.... may God forgive me, I know I didn’t hurt as bad as one of them hurts for the other.   If I knew for sure, I’d have to report it.   But a good Captain knows when to listen.   And when not to.

A/N:  Inspired by the last scene in the fanvid "Shattered". I wake up to the sound of his voice.   I can’t understand his words, my head’s a little scrambled, but I know that tone.   It’s the one...on his shoulders.   ‘Turn around, babe,” I wanna say, but my mouth ain’t gettin’ the picture. He must have heard, though, cause when he turns around, it’s like the sun came out just for me.

You'll probably get sick of my drabbles on this one, since there's one particular episode that drives the need to listen home in a big way.  In fact, that's what the whole episode was about!  So I have...an ear.   Ha!   Like I was going to let that happen.   Colonel Sonny McPherson is no one’s fool. Here comes another one now.   He’s desperate.   Maybe he’ll be the one who finally listens.

I sit at the side of your bed and simply listen.   The sound that was once my jailer is now my freedom.   Where it once haunted my days and nights, chasing me through my dreams, both waking and sleeping...night.    I felt like I was the one dying.   But it came back.   You…came back. Its music plays for me now, steady and slow, and my heart takes up its rhythm, matching us beat for beat.

This was a sort of test to myself, seeing if I could really write one of these scenes in less than a thousand words.  I can, but barely.  I think I'll keep to the longer bits from now on.  Heh.   ...him onto his back.   Opening his mouth wide and wet, he engulfed Starsky’s entire length, letting the incredibly smooth, hot head pop into his throat. And swallowed joyfully the gift to him.

Couldn't let the challenge go by without referring to this episode.  Double Drabble. “Starchinson and Husky,” Colby declared.   “Husky and Starch.   M’pals. Right bu-buddies?” “He’s loaded,” Hutch...ta be a flyboy.   Up in the clouds. VROOOOOOM! RATTATTATTAT.” “Let’s go sleep it off, buddy. Things’ll be better in the morning.” “No, I am!   Honest!” Neither one believed him.

A little lighter piece with some conversation, maybe a little banter.  :D  For Kat, who likes banter, and schmoop.   “Hey, Hutch!” I looked up from tying my shoe.   My partner was in the kitchen...can I say?” I replied airily, brushing past him to open the front door.   “I’m just a sui generous kinda guy.” That earned me a boot in the ass, and I laughed all the way to the car. FIN

  The day was overcast and bleak, matching his mood.   The wind blew in fits and starts, streaming his long blond hair back from his brow in waves of platinum and gold.   The marble headstone...his side, letting that strength flow into him, shoring him up, loving him as only Starsky could. “Come on, babe. Let’s leave the dead to their rest.   You and me still got a lotta livin’ to do.”
