Should be a lot of fun. And right after that comes NCTE/ALAN . . . yes, somewhere...

I'm rereading The High King's Tomb by Kristen Britain, and I came across this line which perfectly expresses the way humans deal with the past: Human beings are naturally flawed when it comes to time...from Alaska? And do you really think she has no idea where Latin America is just because she lives far away from it? I live in Ohio, but guess what? I still know where Australia is! *shakes head

... which is why I managed to miss the fact that Justine Larbalestier (and therefore, possibly Scott Westerfeld too) is coming to Texas, like, fifteen million times. ZOMG!!!! She's one of my favorite authors. It's been sooooo long since she had a book come out, but she's about to have a new one, How to Ditch Your Fairy , so she's touring. YAY!!!! In fact, I could theoretically go see her four times...
