It's a beautiful day out, so Lily and I walked to the beach (where we are now!) It definitely doesn't feel like the end of October today, I had to turn off our heat! Missy got a new job... she's working 3 days a week in a general practitioner doctor's office. The doctor is a young (late 30's or early 40's) woman with young kids (age 3 & 5) and is funny & nice. Lilian's Moby Wrap came in the mail today... we're still figuring it out. The fact that she's asleep in it, must mean that she's comfortable. (Maybe?) We're trying the cradle hold. She feels secure. The...buckle around my fat waist, so I returned it.) We'll see how this works out. We need to practice the different holds. Its very "complicated" and overwhelming... its a lot of fabric! *D*
Today we tried out Lilian's BebePod chair for the first time... she seemed to like it, but it was a little wide for her, so she wobbled side to side a little. But she looks so cute in it!
I set up Lilian's co-sleeper today! (And it's pink!) Here she is modelling it! It's in the middle of the living room right now, but we're gonna put it in the bedroom later. Now I just hope, hope she sleeps in it! *D*
Advice on Baby Clothes Shopping We bought a whole bunch of baby clothes before Lilian was even born... and we were gifted a TON! Some things we bought (and lost receipts for) are pretty useless or we...buy your newborn clothes WITH these! She wore these cuffs on her hands for 3+ weeks to protect her face and they were totally neat and convenient! A post on diapers & baby "things" to come... *D
I'm alive! I am just so busy and so far behind on news that I find it hard to get on LJ to try to catch up. Sorry I've been MIA! Things are going really well. Today I slept until 1:30 PM (because I went to bed at 6:30 AM since I now have the "overnight" shift taking care of Lilian... I'm still adjusting, but so far, so good) and then I bathed Lilian, bathed...dinner at our house this year!
