А вот за что я люблю ковбоя "Вавилон-5", так это за всякие мелкие вкусности (помимо всего остального). В одной из серий показана "реклама" Пси-корпуса. Стандартная вобщем-то, мальчик жалуется маме,...А вообще я этот сериал смотрю еще и потому, что на нем очень классно учиться завязывать множество сюжетных ниточек, чтобы все было объемным. Локли уже почти не раздражает, но по Ивановой скучаю. :)

  My Babylon 5 box set arrived to cheer up what was otherwise a fairly dull and disappointing day.   A few questions present themselves: W here do I fit in the TV movies (none of which I have...have to wait weeks to see it in its proper place.   Finally, how long can I spin out thinking about this to avoid writing an email and a short story I am supposed to be working on this afternoon?

Прочитал книгу Лукьяненко "Конкуренты". Если честно, сначала не хотелось читать, думал, что будет обычное УГ, начало прочтения только подтверждало мои опасения. Но, по мере развития сюжета, опус Лукьяненко...или "жуков" в книге, практически такая же как и идеология Теней в сериале, мотивация своих деяний примерно одинакова: Война - двигатель прогресса, эволюции, отбраковываени слабых и т.д. и т.п.

  I have bought the complete Babylon 5 box set from Amazon.  I have been thinking about getting it for some time, but a big price reduction (it was just over £60 reduced from the usual £80) persuaded...on-going story arc because Channel 4 kept changing the time of broadcast.   I stopped halfway through season four and missed all of season five, so it will be nice to finally see how the story ends.

I've been reading George R. R. Martin's A Clash of Kings for the last few days now and it's pretty much my idea of literary perfection. Lots of fully-rounded, well-realised characters many of whom are... And it's been nagging away at me for a while, but I've realised what the series reminds me of: Babylon 5 . IT IS PRETTY MUCH A FANTASY VERSION OF BABYLON 5. And shit yes that's a good thing
