My hands are back to whatever normal is. I was able to go to the dentist on Wednesday without having to be turned away due to an allergic reaction. I'm a little bit pleased with myself. And I can't believe...this. It won't take too many 'forwards' before everybody will know about this. It really could save your life, or put a loved one's mind at rest. ICE will speak for you when you are not able to.
Bagged and tagged May 2006. I should have gone to bed, but sleep is not coming, yet. Monday was busy as was predicted and expensive. We did get the dog to the vet. He got his allergy shot, special shampoo...started. I made a meat pie . It left enough for the other half to have lunch at work today. My house looks like a tornado went through and at the moment, I just don't care. That's probably bad
Peanuts animator, Bill Melendez, passed on at age 91. As for all the fuss over Sarah Palin's pregnant and unmarried daughter ... people that are pointing fingers really need to reexamine their own lives...ran off with a Florida State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back." "Have a good day, Sir," said the Trooper. My Heart Is Like a River - Rebecca Lavelle - McLeod's Daughters Soundtrack
One item off of my goal list for this week: Read two chapters in a book that's been on my half read list for some time. Maybe I outta stick it in the bathroom with my extra reading glasses. I found out...no Tooth Fairy' speech. When I was eight, you hit me with the 'There's no Santa' speech. 'If you're going to tell me that grown-ups don't really get laid, I'll have nothing left to live for.'
I discovered that if you fry a voice post that it still counts against your total for the month, which is 20 for paid accounts. Ah well, live and learn. Bagged and tagged to Jan 12 2006. Figured out...and took her over to DM. She played designated driver for a friend of hers. It was hilarious to see him hitting on all the women! :D 1:21 AM Well, I'm going to try to write or something..
So, I'm pondering a few things. Like the silliness and strangeness of people in general. Some of it, I'll save for an RP post, but there are some things on my mind. Honestly, I'm curious how someone like...people tricks lately, they make my brain hurt. elf_fu gave me my giggle of the day with her phone post! http://elf-fu.livejournal.com/351472.html It's mostly an RP thing, but still funny
I bagged and tagged the last of the posts for 2005. General thinking, news, and mayhem behind the cut. The wedding last weekend was wonderful. The jacket that went with my dress was glittering everyone.... I have some writing to do, a LOT of writing to do. Two days ago, Kirin was quiet and I was slowly eking out pieces for Ciara. Now the trio is screaming and a fourth is joining them! Off to write
I'm reminded of a story I read in a cross-stitch forum when a little girl asked her mother when she was going to work on the various projects that were in some state of completion. When her mother answered...out there as well; there's a lot of clutter on it. Need to hang up the new ladder, too. Want to try to finish bagging and tagging Oct. 2005 before the end of the month. Off to get things done!
While bagging and tagging the second half of September ( I finished September 2005), I found The Nerd, Geek or Dork Test . It's still active here if anyone wants to take it. I was an Outcast Genius... I finished cutting up a log into a post. I have another piece to start. Now, for your amusement, Beatles Baby . This is a video of a little one around two singing the Beatles classic "Hey Jude.
I'm listening to The Funny Thing Is... by Ellen DeGeneres and The Book of Old Houses (Home Repair Is Homicide Mysteries) by Sarah Graves . (Edit: Finished it) I really like Lindsay Ellison's narration...Tuesday is a recycling/bulk trash day. Might get out there today as well. We'll see. In the meantime, I'm surfing eBay to look at all the gee whiz cool stuff that I don't need and/or can't afford.
