The Bat-team of Grant Morrison and Tony Daniel really turn up the gothic imagery in “Batman” #680. Bruce Wayne, his brain still stuck in Zur-en-Arrh mode, tracks the Black Glove to his spooky-looking mansion...mucking has nothing to do with the Dark Knight getting back at himself? Instead, what if he unconsciously planned this as a means of finally gaining an understanding of the Joker’s mind? Just a thought

Grant Morrison has a reputation for bringing wild and crazy ideas to mainstream comics, but the biggest surprise of “Batman” #678 is just how funny it is. The latest issue, part three of the “Batman, R...as much fun if not for Morrison’s framing device, which seems so out there at first, yet makes perfect sense by the end. It portends even stranger developments next month. Personally, I can’t wait.

When I was in fifth grade, I got hold of a mass market paperback called “The Untold Legend of Batman,” which reprinted a three issue mini-series of the same name published in 1980. The mini-series, written... He managed to draw a panel of Bruce Wayne and the Bat-cave from Jezebel Jet’s point-of-view which managed to suck all the coolness out of being Batman. Truly, sir, you are a formidable opponent
