I hope this will be OK to post here. I left the community yesterday, but decided to come back just to post this update. I'll put it behind a cut as this is long and might be sensitive for some people....real. As my husband and I slowly put our lives back together, I urge you all to keep a close eye on yourselves and your pregnancies and do not rely on anyone else to tell you what's OK and what's not
Rebekah Angela Born July 31st at 2:00pm. 8lb 4oz, 20.75 in. Mini birth story: My induction went great! Fantastic nurses at St. John! I ended up with an epidural at 3cm, but not because the contractions...boost of the pain meds. She was pushed out in 13 min, so freaking easy I couldn't believe it! I did tear a little in two places and bruised my tailbone, but other than that we are home and doing great
July 21st 2009 ( 27w 2d)- I went to work like any other normal day. I had a slight pain in my lower left back. I really didn't think much of it because my sciatica has bothered me alot this pregnancy...I can handle it. Hopefully one day, I';ll be back. Thank you to all you wonderful mommy and mommy to bes for sharing all of your experiances good and bad. It really did help me get through alot
i didnt post in here much but i figured id share anyway... manuel tomas (unassisted)homebirth 7/7/09 4:15am 10lbs, 4oz 22.5 inches i shall start with friday! we waited all week for the baby and...face from either the harsh contractions or my bones or something. he came out in less than 10 minutes so his head didnt have time to mold in the birth canal at all.
I posted an entry at 5am on July 18th saying something along the lines, "I'm having God awful contractions every 7 minutes. I'm thinking this might be it." I would link back to it if I could, but the hospital's...his due date July 19, 2009 1:13AM 7lbs 5 oz, 20.5 inches long He's the most beautiful baby I've ever laid eyes on, however, I'm probably pretty biased ;o) Birth story to follow when I'm at home
Darby George Born 7/3/09 at 4:29 PM 7 pounds 8 ounces I gave birth to the cutest, sweetest baby in the whole world! :] After 41 hours of painful contractions [yes, I counted], I finally was admitted...happy. I had a really hard time being pregnant... but it was all worth it. :D Pictures! Darby at the hospital. Leaving the hospital! Taking a nap at home. My family.
Ari Preston Laird, originally due August 3, born July 9 at 7:05pm. 5 lbs 7.5 ounces, 17.5 inches long. I was scheduled to induce on July 14 due to the pre-eclampsia, but my blood pressure...finally latched on this morning for a solid ten minutes though, and as long as he is feeding well by the time I am discharged tomorrow or Monday, he can come home with me! I am crossing my fingers..

I went to my brother's big 4th...amazing feeling. Zachary Alexander July 1, 2009, 10:47 Central time 7 lbs 0 oz, 19 1/2 in Brief synopsis: Cervadil-induced, spontaneous rupture on membranes, declined pitocin, 4 hours of labor (that I wouldn't wish on anyone). APGARs of 9 and 10. We're home and everybody's fine. Even Dad. :-) Full story (with pictures!) in the next few days.
Aidan Matthew was born at 12:59pm July 1st. He weighed in at 10lbs 1oz and is 21.5 inches long. After some blood pressure issues, he was delivered a half hour early via c-section. I'm tired and in pain but he is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. Pictures and more details once I'm home and recovered a bit. :) X-posted
