On the first day of my badminton class, I discover a deceased sparrow in the wall of the gym. The inside wall. Not a good sign, I would say. Last night before I went to class at 7 my roommate told me to be sure to take an umbrella. Then I asked her if it was cold. "It's not too cold," she said. So as I stepped out of the apartment immediately...my Chinese teacher about my independent study for which she is skeptical. I'll ask again today. On Thursday I have a meeting with my academic adviser. Hopefully that will go better than the last time
