My question is: What is the proper direction to pull the hairs out and why? I've read variousinstructions as to how to sugar, but I noticed that this portion of the instructions differs from tutorial...it makes the most sense to me... but I'm really, really afraid of getting ingrown hairs (especially because I actually have ingrown hair scarring from shaving for so many years). Advice, please? :
Because of issues with my scalp, I'm going to be shaving my head soon. I have some issues with my scalp. I have lots of scabs and itching from psoriasis, and from poor diet and using crappy shampoo/conditioner...throughout the day. Then again, I guess that's all in how I tie them. But I don't have a clue on how to tiescarves into my head because it's just not something I'e really done before. Suggestions
Hi all! So I have a question for all the lovely ladies out there: Do you shave your bodyhair, specifically, your armpits? I don't actually mind my body hair that much but find myself very self concious...recently due to the societal norms of shaving and what not. Those of you who do shave, how do you cope with this? Do you struggle with it at all? Do you encourage not shaving? Thanks for any feedback
I'm surprised at how many people expressed absolute revulsion and disgust at bodyhair. Is our culture just a little preoccupied with grooming, maybe to excess? I've always been shocked at how many posts...'rant'. My tone here isn't angry, it's standing on the rooftop shouting that I think I can be pretty in a way other people thing is ugly. And smiling and laughing at myself at the same time.
Hiiii! I have a couple of questions, maybe you guys can help me out. :) 1. Foods that are high in calcium, excluding dairy? Also! A good alternative to cheese (if any?) 2. I looked in the memories and couldn't find much on this... have any of you used a straight edged razor to shave your legs? Would this be a bad idea? Experiences? Good brands? 3. Henna from Lush. Good? Bad? Thanks :) !

I was looking at ways to continue to "go green" in my life, and I found a website that sold old-fashioned cartridge razors, made out of metal and I think the ones I was looking at used actual razor blades...metal razor on their legs and/or armpits? Most of what I can find is focused on the shaving of faces. or does anyone know of a "greener" razor? i.e less plastic, recyclable? Thanks for any help
So I've been following the very popular: 2 c sugar 1/4 water 1/4 lemon juice recipe for body sugaring and can't seem to get it right all day! I did alter a couple of things. In my 1/4 c of water I steep... It's supposed to be like a paste, almost a solid. Does anyone have any tips? Did my few drops of tea tree oil really mess it up that much? Should I just use less liquid to the sugar ratio? Thanks
