At last I'm listed at Barnes and Noble! . Udo Kier: I adore you. I have Blood for Dracula and damn; you're pretty, pretty, pretty and just campy enough, Udo. I have no idea where book four goes...later. I have this lovely little interview with Andy that I'd post, but I think I'm the only one who cares. (Yes I know, I can't shut up about him. And so?) Back to...well, cleaning, I suppose.
Dear everyone, My apologies for the long pause. Things have been hectic and a little insane. I returned home from wandering outside of Tortall to discover things have changed. I honestly don't even... Sorry for missing your wedding! The invitation has just arrived! I can not stress the congratulations enough! I promise that as soon as things settle down a little here, I'll stop by. Alanna.
A little back story. During this current journey of writing which is the Paris Immortal series, one thing was constant, consistent. The opening of the next book would present itself and be written, before...this is because the characters are happy I finally got my head out of my ass. "We've been waiting for you to stop obsessing over the other stuff, and hear us," they say. (Insert humorous eye roll here.
I just skimmed a bit through book four - and what do I see? The sorting hat telling about the origins of the four founders. Unknowingly, I moved to a place right in between my two fandoms. St. Neots...me So I could choose instead! Now slip me snug about your ears, I've never yet been wrong, I'll have a look inside your mind And tell you where you belong!
One day, feeling restless, Alanna and Faithful paced the castle. Most sensible people were long in their beds. Alanna never claimed sensibility. Their walk finally brought knight and cat...away, quite a feat in so delicate looking a woman.
"There is something wrong with that Princess." Alanna remarked to her cat, who was too busy licking his whiskers to care.
The life of a young knight who’s not quite the gender everyone expected her to be in a changing medieval country or what Alanna has been up to the past month.
After finishing up her morning...other topics. It was noon by the time the meeting drew to a close. [ooc: Mostly stolen from Lioness Rampant with some editing where necessary. No IC interaction possible, OOC comments welcome.]
Alanna leaned over the rail of the ship as her insides heaved overboard...yet again. "Some might feel pity for you." Faithful said smugly from behind her. "Shut up." Alanna said, glaring over her... Almost without thought, she pulled out a folded photograph from her pocket. She would deny under torture that there were tears in her eyes. [ooc: OOC comments welcome, IC interaction impossible.]
Alanna was sitting on the bed, growling at the world, her hands covered in bandages. Thayet was somewhat more amused, parchment spread out on the writing desk and a quill ready to go. "It could be worse...press. "Heal up quickly, we'll ride out in a few days." "You could just tie me to the horse." [ooc: ...Yeah, I suck. Here, have an Alanna post. Responses to her/Thayet's letter can go here.]
The Book thief - Markus Zusak I loved this book. thought it was amazing although it was one of the saddest books i've ever read. right now i'm reading Terry Pratchett - sourcery and Chuck Palahniuk - invisible monsters. 4 / 50 words. 8% done!
Alanna was not in a good mood. An early riser, by noon she was still not awake. Faithful's smug expression and Coram's ribbing were helping exactly none. The fact that Liam Ironarm was the one to catch...at-arms. [ooc: Like the girl says, leave letters. Who knows, you might even get a response if I'm insane enough. And we all know that sanity is so not my thing. Sorry it took so long to get this up.
