Book list update: The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory   232/661 pages I'm loving this book so far. It's different than The Tudors, but still familiar in a way. I'm trying to keep my thoughts away...men. The burden of furthering the family by abandoning your husband and sleeping with the king and holding his favor must have been immense. Certainly makes me thankful women have more rights today

So, what to update on? Well, I've finished re-reading Breaking Dawn, thus completing my second read through the whole Twilight Saga. Now I can get some actual reading done. I also finished Zen And The...16: Carlisle, pages 344 and 345), one of my many favorite moments of the book. (1024x768) Text also from the book, but from a different scene. I know it looks like I spent my entire month reading, but most of these were fairly short. I Am America (And So Can You!) by Stephen Colbert Ryan and Steph gave this to me for my birthday. It was... Story of a Girl by Sara Zarr A YA novel about a girl with a really messed-up family. The writing was excellent and authentic, but it made me sad. Books for September: 12 2008 year to date: 7

I borrowed Jarhead from my brother, which he bought in the airport on our flight back from S. Carolina last Thanksgiving. He had just completed boot camp and we were bringing him home. It was his 19th...mind. *I would also like to note that finding the actual cover of the book was a pretty difficult google search. I found about 3241531 movie posters, and one picture of an actual head in a jar. Ew.  

Five things to say. 1. Sophomore year could not be more mind numbing. English, World History, and Music Theory are pretty good. However, they do not cancel out the awfulness of Algebra II, Spanish II...list that is slowly become a monstrosity. Anyone have any good recommendations? P.S. I finally moved all my music from my old computer, and am replaying Picaresque obsessively. Mmm, Decemberists
