How can anyone forget that morning? I know I can't... It...a few years, and here I am... serving in the military. Am I doing my part? That's not for me to say... but if the time comes to make the ultimate sacrifice, then so be it. Never forget.
Yeah, I'm going home to visit and work the Black Swamp Arts Festival in Bowling Green Ohio. If you can make it, it's a great time. Good free family fun including crafts and kid friendly live music. Home at last and it's almost midnight. I stopped in BowlingGreen, Kentucky, on the way home from Horse Cave to see a production of A Tuna Christmas at the Capital Arts Center. Jack LeSieur was directing...Digges-Elliott was stage managing. It was a good show and the audience was responding to the comedy. Well, that's three plays in three days. She was also an inspiration; she added a new dimension to the campaign.
College... I don't know where to go... I have two very different places I want to go... And for two very different reasons... University of Cincinnati. With BowlingGreen and then Kent State as back ups...to go for... But..... I'm scared. I'm scared to go somewhere where I don't know anyone and I have to room with a complete stranger. But so much more so. I'm terrified of losing Kate. What should I do
I'm stuck on the Gold and Blue. It started with Chicago's Roosevelt High Rough Riders and it will end with UCLA's Bruins. RHS had it more forcefully with, "We all are true to the Gold and Blue, so go Rough...or Sociology that would provide me with an excuse.... maybe a CME course nearby where I could further my medical knowledge and discover an area that I hold in great respect. The past couple of days have been nice. When Apryl came home, her mother, two sisters and nephew spent the night and we all had a lot of fun. I got to play some really cute, old-school Japanese games.... Ron and Apryl plan on going to Bowling Green tomorrow, too. We might just all ride together to save gas. Yesterday was a great day. We went to Denny's in Bowling Green for lunch (we actually ate breakfast food, though). Mm, their fruit-filled pancakes are the best!
