The last few days I have been reading posts from girls who are also dealing with their guys who have left either to BMT or have been deployed somewhere. It makes me feel better reading some of these posts...sadness, and tears beyond my control. I am a military girlfriend, not a spouse or family member. When you say your prayers for the wives, mothers, and fathers, please don’t forget about me.

Tonight I am really missing Josh like horribly. I don't know why these feelings take over like they do. I was fine the last few days. I guess maybe it was because I was sort of on a high when he finally...at least for one weekend. Today is just a down day. I will get through this. I love him and he definitely deserves it. So now I'm going to bed and in the morning things will be a whole lot better.

Today I woke up at 8:45, no waking up at all during the middle of the night, and I didn't have to take any sleeping pills to do it.  I got over one of the main things I didn't think I'd be able to do... So I'm going to stop jumping to conclusions, be as stoked as possible that there's almost only 6 weeks left, and take Meeko for a walk because its sunny and warm and my cuddlybug doggy deserves it :)

Well I haven't had this journal even a week now and im slacking already on it lol. Lots has happened since my last entry which speaking of that one, I think I was half intoxicated and sleepy at the same...help of another trusty sleeping pill) I slept all the way through the night so I feel amazing right now. I am going to get through this and when I see him in seven weeks it will all be worth it :)

Right at this moment I am sitting at Rob's house watching (or half paying attention to anyway) transformers 2 with old friends and honestly having a pretty good time for once this week. Alright so day 2 not nearly as bad as day 1. I was able to speak to people without having my throat all choked up and actually was in a pretty good mood most of the time. But this is while I'm working...I can move on. Exhaustion will not be helping my situation. So for now I have to keep reminding myself to stay strong and get over it because this sleeping half a night stuff is not going to cut it

Yesterday had to be one of the hardest days of my life. It started with both of our alarms both going off at 6 in the morning (after a long night of waking up at every hour), getting his last warm shower...up when I feel like I can't and I am really thankful for that. It's not going to be easy but I know I can do this and hopefully time really will fly by and before I know it he will be with me again.
