*waves goodbye to her favorite icon!* Not an hour after I posted about hoping I'd get a 42 week induction date at the appointment I had with my OB on the 15th, I was being told by that same OB that...time to feed her again, and after that I have some serious naptime scheduled between myself and my NOT HOSPITAL bed, for once. My son is six days old today. He has had pretty mixed up eating habits. The first few days he wouldn't eat at all. We had to wake him up every four hours. He also can not latch on to either breast so I...he won't latch because he is to tongue tied and my nipples are to flat. I don't know what to do. I wanted to breastfeed, atleast for awhile, but it looks like that's not happening. Any advice ladies

Baily is taking a nap with Grandma right now, so I have a little bit of time to write our birth story.  Things did not go exactly as I wanted, but I was still very happy with our birth experience.  Here...my first visit to NICU.  He got quiet & listened.  I can't believe I'm his mommy!! Just born! In NICU Finally get to bunk in with Mommy! Just chillin' in my boppy - 6 days old

Has anyone tried the herb fenugreek to increase their milk supply? Any results? This might be more appropriate for a breastfeeding community, but I haven't joined one yet. Any feedback would be great.

A girl I know had a baby about 3 months ago.  She had been talking about breastfeeding about 6 months ago, but I went over to her place the other day to pick up a few things she was giving me, and I saw... now I'm nervous because I'm 100% sure I want to breastfeed, and I don't want this "thing" to happen that renders me unable.  Are there measures to take to make sure this "thing" doesn't happen to me

I have a friend who is probably either 35 or 36 weeks pregnant with her second. Since I told her I was pregnant, she's been throwing lots of "info" my way, and very little of it sounds, well, right. Recently... I'm not going to talk to her about this anymore, as all I do is upset her. She's very stubborn, and what she believes is just how it goes for her. I'm asking this due to my own curiousity. Thank you
