...the cat's nose. Cat looked at bird, bird looked at cat, dog looked at me, I tell them to "leave it," and nobody moves until I get over there and ask a very unruffled budgie if she would please step up. Budgies are fearless. She steps up nicely, gets put back on the cage, cat wanders off, and dogs put heads down in boredom. Should this situation happen? No...I'd really prefer to prevent it in the first...

I love reading Discovery news for my science info. I read one of the funniest stories yesterday. After a probe for NASA failed to track the movement of river flows in glaciers a rocket scientist got the...they are short under a minute. But longer videos load right away. I hope this isn't just us. Anyone else experience this? Check out my latest video. This is a video of my budgie collection.
Well, my 2 weeks of holidays started on a bit of a sad note (besides the time spent at Jez's).... One of my budgies died saturday morning. My little munchkin Toby. He was the very first budgie i ever got and i'll miss him so much - i do already... :( RIP Toby 2000 - 2008
In response to some comments and messages, I am posting some general information about Budgies. I know that this week it appears I have turned into the Birdman of Alcatraz. IN THE WILD 1 Budgies are native to Australia. 2 They are always green “in the wild”. And in the wild they are only about 75% the size of cage birds. 3 There are occasional colonies of escaped (feral) birds but they dont usually...
Woohoo. At last. This morning I caught two pair of my budgies in the act of making sweet budgie love. Then they all smoked a cigarette and cheeped "how was it for you?" This is good news, even though its a bit late in the summer. Not exactly sure that we had a summer anyway. Now of course this does not mean they will actually lay eggs. Nor does it mean the eggs will hatch. Nor does it mean the babies...
...but hope it doesn't come back. Mum still has earake. Went back to the doctor and ear swollen. Not good me thinks. Now your up to date with the sickies. In sad news David wanted to get rid of his budgies so there won't be any more budgies at his place. No I don't have them this time. a friend of his has them. He'll look after them. They both turned out to be males apparently and this week made...
...had some "bloods" done as he was a bit worried (prostate trouble is a man thing) and the results were not 100% good so he wants me re-tested every three months. Spent some time in garden observing the budgies and fish. Not 100% happy at the condition of the new bird. She looks a little forlorn at times. Trying to work out something for the fish. Below is a link to an old website of mine, where you can...
... She can sew. But can she choose a new budgie for me?. She has gone shopping with her sister and neices in Portadown (five miles from me). I asked her to check out the local pet store there. My budgies still show no sign of getting down to breeding (budgie porn did NOT work). Mrs FitzjamesHorse is even more sentimental than I am about animals. Choosing budgies…….hmmm I usually just go for...
