So life has been kinda crazy the past month or two... I moved to a great new place, still in the same neighborhood. I have been working ALOT and really enjoying this show. This film is going to be amazing...he knew who would travel into the middle of the desert only to spend an hour filling out a form and call it fun. Actually, it's jooneskus  ' birthday weekend.  Happy happy birthday gorgeous lady!  Today will be better.  So will tomorrow.  No copsies.  I got yo' back. Oh yeah, and it's decom .  Everything...I had to postpone proper celebrating of Miss Joon to help make this happen.   Jooniper, if I had money, you would so be making one of these right now.  Alas...you have my love. LOVE YOU!

Decorating not going as badly as I thought. Keep putting things away, much more space, it seems. Have all of these crazy little Victorian/steampunk boxes and suitcase things from Ross that I'm filling...what kind of a response I'd get. I know not everyone's like me, obsessively searching for a pattern I haven't found, a new diagram that's been posted online.. laugh I'm off! Hope to get shelves today

Stop. Do not pass go. Do not attempt to splice EL wire without quick-connects. Okay, that might be a little bit overzealous, but I have definitely learned my lesson. I did two three-way splices and they...of wire enough times, then you have to desolder the LAST splice that you made so that you can replace it. Bottom line: quick-connects, yes. No question. What was I thinking to even try not using them

Stripping EL wire is hard. Even a good, self-adjusting wire stripper sometimes cuts the tiny corona wires that encircle the main wire. Troy suggested that the easiest way to strip EL wire is to use a lighter... but what do you want. I've only done two of them so far! Most of you didn't bother to read that, but anybody who's worked on or will work on EL wire might find it useful, so I'm posting it

In addition to the more recent Alchemy, I also attended Transformus, previously the official Southeast Regional Burn, this year. Many people were unable to come due to a last-minute change, three weeks before the event, banning anyone under the age of 21. Of the 12 or so friends I was hoping to see there, I only saw one. We all had a blast, anyway.
