Fall seems to have arrived, and I face my enemy soon: riding in Chicago winters. Last year I made do with my riding jeans and some cuddle dud knock offs, but that just didn't fly very well so I'm looking...when it got below a certain temp dropped below a certain range, but I found myself taking lessons when it was 13 degrees at least twice. Of course, I'm also crazy, so make of that what you will
Hi All! I have been making corsets for a while and just getting into selling them as a business. There are some upcoming craft shows and such in my area and I was wondering what type of luck any of you have had at craft shows and/ or markets. I had done one show and it was ok but I only expected it to be as a promotion for myself. ( The price to participate was also cheap). The corsets I do are mostly under...
I need a bit of advice and it may seem a little contraversial to some of you so please note I do not wish to cause offense at all by this. I have had a couple of male to female transgendered people ask...is the correct way for me to say "thanks for the offer but I don;t make mae corsets" without the would-be client taking offense? Am I just beig picky or even prejudiced by not making male corsets?
Our new foal was born yesterday at the Farm and he is gorrrrrgeous! His Mum Jazz is a TB and his Dad Hunter is an Irish Draft X TB Mum is Bay, Dad is dapple-Grey with a white mane/tail. Baby Paddy is Bay...it is just starting to rub a bit. I suppose my question is whether or not sheepskin covers really work as I don't want to spend another £25 if they make no difference. Any experiences always welcome

Last year, one of my mares rubbed a huge chunk of her mane bald on the paddock fencing. She was trying to graze outside of the fence, because of course we never feed her. *eyeroll* I was looking at the...pulled, and looking normal again, so I'd like to keep it that way for the show season if at all possible. Also, she's a black and white pinto, so I think the UV protection would be good too. Thanks
Long story short, it looks like fairly soon (in the next few months or so) I'll officially own about 66 acres in North Carolina. It's in a sleepy little farm town in the Raleigh/Durham/Hillsborough/Chapel...mention that the hope is I'll be able to buy my aunt's and brother's share of the same plat and own all 105 acres on that side of the road? Here's hoping I can figure out a feasible way to do this..
Hey, guys! I am making this request on behalf of a friend, as I know there are several MA people here. She is a complete neophyte (with the exception of some trail rides on exotic vacations) who is really interested in trying one lesson to see if she wants to get into it. So, any stables relative accessible via MBTA transportation or the commuter rail? Thank you much!
