I flew to Chicago this past weekend for the Importers Dance. This is my first time going to  near Chicago, first time dancing at an invitational C4 weekend as an invitee (vs. filling in), first time... so we were able to recover more easily. I probably danced 85% on my own on both days.   It was a great weekend of fun dancing with a very nice group of people. I think I’ll go again in November.

So my weekly dance schedule kept getting longer: Monday night I danced MS and Plus at Hotlanta Squares, Tuesday night I took the free beginner two-step lesson at Hoedowns , Thursday night I danced C3B at the Clutes’ home in Kennesaw, every first and third Friday night I danced C2 at the Tapps’ home in Kennesaw, every second and fourth Saturday night I danced C3A at the Tapps’, and every Sunday evening...

...annual C3A weekends within four hours of driving from Atlanta. We had about 10 hours of 3A and 3 hours of 3B. Dewayne gave me a ride to the dance. While I was on my way there to dance C3A and watch C3B, I remembered that this was the same weekend of the Henry Horton A/C, where I danced A2 and watched C1 exactly one year ago.    My first C3A tip in Chattanooga after self-teaching went as well...

  Thursday stormecho  called and told me that he would be available to pick me up at the airport, and he also would be on school break during the whole time I’m in NYC. Whee!   Friday...I wouldn’t be able to get up early in the morning before he leaves for work. Geo drove me to the airport in the morning. My flight departed on time, and I walked into the Atlanta airport at 2p.m.
