I'm, um, back at the ranch. When I went to Cueball with an offer of help, I wasn't exactly expecting him to give me a job offer. But that's exactly what I got -- I'm not a deputy anymore, I'm a full...thoughts for when I'm actually doing something constructive about them. I don't think elljay counts as being constructive. Oh well. I'm sure I'll have plenty to report about it soon enough.
So today is Caitlin's 6th birthday. Hurrah! I know that we had Cait's birthday party over this weekend, and another one next weekend, but I'm still a little grumpy that I had to leave before she woke up, and I won't be home until she's in bed tonight. *grumble* I'll be at work until late this evening for our 25th anniversary Friends of the NIU Libraries event with Peter Sagal . I'm Peter's "contact...
Caitlinwas born six years ago today. It was a wonderful and rough day. rarelylynne ended up getting an emergency c-section after days of labor. Caitlin and Lynne were both beautiful. I spent the rest of that day running back and forth between Lynne's room and the NICU. I was awake for about 40 hours by the time they moved Caitlin up to the maternity ward. Cait's home sick today. She threw...
After a lovely birthday party yesterday, with many friends, today, Caitlinwoke up with a seizure. Such are the highs and lows that we live with. I know that it's a blessing to even have her here with us--there was a part of me that believed that she wouldn't make it to her 6th birthday. But it doesn't make me want to cure her Aicardi Syndrome any less. I hate this feeling of not being able to...
Caitlin will not be at her IEP meeting. She woke up with a big seizure. She's now sleeping off the Diastat. It will never get easywatching our baby seize and twitch. It breaks our hearts every time.
Caitlin is finally crawling forwards. The milestone was reached suddenly on Wednesday night, which was a bit odd. One minute she was her usual self, moving backwards, then all of a sudden she went forwards like a switch was flicked and she hasn't looked back since. She still moves backwards a little bit, but if she wants something in front of her, she'll happily crawl forwards to get it. Caitlin...
We're all a bit exhausted around here. After a very busy week, the weekend was only slightly restful. Today, we celebrated Caitlin's birthday with our local friends. It was lovely. We ate cake and watched little girls play. Caitlin received many wonderful gifts, including the Star Wars prequel DVDs. I guess that means I have to rewatch them. Next week is going to be just as insane. Tomorrow is...
Whats up! This my First one of these Journals. I have no idea what to do here. I'm just going to spill my guts. I I really have feelings for somebody and I hope that she has the same feeling for me. Other...out about school. I don't want to go but I have to if I ever want to make something of myself and I don't know what to do? I am so confused? Well I don't what to do now so i'm just going to say bye
I TOTALLY JUST KICKED MY CALC TEST'S ASSSSSSSSSS! Victory is mine =] Also, three cheers for bonding with Caitlin - and having the whole weekendto bond! And MidKnight Madness tonight!
