Been dying to blog about my first attempt on baking a birthdaycake but no time to get to it. Finally...My Masterpiece! It's a birthday cake baked specially for Vit. The cake looks decent but it didn't...salvage it..haha... Nevertheless, it was a fun experience and i am sure i will be able to make a better tasting cake the next round. Juts depends on who has that power to motivate me to make it.

I know what junkfood_monkey is going to say :D oh and today - 1 cake! My dad came over for coffee, so I had to get some cakes in :D I need to fatten him up ;-) Writing later and not mucking around with bloody websites!!!!
Sweet Potato Pound Cake Ingredients: 3-1/2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon each allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg 3 cups sugar 1 cup...and sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove to a wire rack and cool completely. Pour yourself a cup of coffee and enjoy!

Well, I decided to try a recipe for chocolate cake, PR style that I found online. Since I still have fondant left over from last time, I decided to decorate this time adding color. Well, see for yourselves...to diferent pieces and cut them with some cookie cutters I have that I never use. It looks kind of psichedelic, isn't it? I hope it tastes good, since I have never tried this recipe before...
So happy~ I've added new cakes to my collection and got a cake cabinet for them too~ Too bad my 2 black forest cakes were sold, or else I'll have a more complete collection~ eehee!

Pumpkin Upside Down Cake 1 (29 ounce) can pumpkin 1 cup white sugar 3 eggs 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix 1 cup butter...melted butter over the cake mix. 4.Bake for 1 hour in the preheated oven, or until a knife inserted into the cake comes out clean. Cool, then invert onto a serving dish. Serve with whipped topping
