my camera is still at the repairers. it should have been back to me yesterday (tuesday) but they sent me an email because they had re-evaluated their original estimate of £80 or so to £150! *damn* anyway...with the photos it produces. if i score a bit of cash this coming birthday then maybe... which reminds me, i need to send a pile of photos to the old folk before they skip town for a week or two..

Because I'm careless, I lost my eyecup during the trip to the farm on Friday. Does anyone know where to get a replacement Canon DSLR eyecup? Or eyecap/rubber as most of you call it. Additionally, it would be awesome if I could find Canon dioptric adjustment lens as well.

I've been in a  friendly debate with a fellow on flickr about the difference in a Point and Shoot Camera and DSLR.  I insist that it doesn't matter what you are shooting with...a DSLR is not going to make... Ok my point......an artist will make do with what they have to create with! I've seen as some amazing art drawn with a #2 pencil on a piece of paper,is it any less valubale than an oil painting?
