Yesterday I went for a physical.* The NP was very nice. She asked if there was anything I was concerned about, so I told her about Cameron's hearing test and about not being immune to chicken pox ....this appointment and my "fun doctor" (i.e. OB-GYN) appointment last week, there was no co-pay. They said there was no co-pay for "preventative" appointments. This is definitely a new thing. Rawk on

Cameron passed his hearing test with flying colors. I, on the other hand, flunked it. I had him on my lap, and the technician lit up various fun-looking toys. There was a Sponge Bob on the left and a...You didn't hear them?" T. (to me, laughing) : "Maybe you need to get your hearing checked!" Me: (not laughing) : "I guess so!" I do need a physical. I don't think I've had one since I was a kid

The good news is that one of my midterms is written. Still have to make a second version (to discourage cheating), proofread, print, and copy. But as Cameron will be in daycare tomorrow that shouldn't...out of pity for their upcoming tests; I hope my voice holds out. Boy, it sure was nice to play hooky today! I'd better not get used to it; now I'm considering skipping rehearsal tomorrow night

I think acetaminophen might just be... Well, I guess antibiotics have saved my life a few times, but for everyday Just Plain Feeling Like Shit, Tylenol really hits the spot. Now if it only would clear...think he belongs in day care tomorrow. I told Debbie I'd bring him on Thursday instead, but only if he was feeling better. I really hope he is because I still need to write the aforementioned midterms

As I mentioned , I had to wake Cameron yesterday morning to go to Debbie's. I thought he seemed warm, but not in a feverish kind of way. I also woke up with a little something, but I didn't put two and...even talk. So C. and I, the two "sickies," are at home keeping each other company. C. seems to be feeling better, though his appetite and energy are still down. I, on the other hand, feel like crap

Sure enough, yesterday I started to feel a little tickle in my throat. I really, really hope I didn't give LLM a bad germ on Saturday. She insisted on giving me hugs when I was there; I turned my face...Debbie's today, but T. had a dentist appointment that he would have canceled if C. had stayed home, so I took him. Hopefully he won't infect the other kids (and Debbie). T. hasn't had symptoms yet

Cameron had a stuffy night last night and continues to be snotty today but otherwise chipper. I am worried about catching whatever it is and not being able to go see LLM tomorrow. Between the Snufflemonster...morning I would (reluctantly) stay home. If I do go I'll play it safe and stay across the room in case I'm contagious but not yet showing symptoms. Drat. Just what my hands need... more washing. Sigh
