When I start to feel like...of you that thought I was completely heartless... well believe it or not, I am a compassionate, grateful, and sincere person. 7th month mark of alkalinising (cont'd)

My rosacea is more under control now since alkalinising.  This is probably the first month my face hasn't itched too much just before my period where it flares up big time and gets very itchy.  My period...  :) I and 2 of my friends managed to raise £1,200 for Cancer Research and we're very pleased.  For the day itself, all 11,000 women so far (and children) raised over £1 million on internet donations.

Race for Life

I've signed myself up for this years Race for Life at Regents Park, London on the 20th July. It's such a good cause. I'm not looking forward to starting training but I don't want to run cold like I did...fairy outfit unless anyone can come up with better suggestions. I'm trying to rope people into coming and supporting me because Martin is away that weekend and I'll feel a right pillock on my own.

"You shine on me wherever you are."

Today I did my announcement about my charities and hair. I changed from Locks of Love to "Little Princesses" because it's a UK charity so more convenient with postage. I also decided to donate my sponsor...half way to my £200 overall goal! I've been looking through photos at styles I'd like after the cut and found this style in Glamour: (I'll take some photos of my hair now sometime soon as well.

A machine to kill cancer??

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21568150/ Kanzius explained that the science of his machine uses a solution filled with nanoparticles, each of which measure no more than one-billionth of a meter. A test... though is the fact that there are basically no drugs used in his treatment, therefore the major drug companies would shoot it down and it would probably never see the light of day, even if it did work

I can't wait for SNOW!

No- wait...not that kind of snow (even though I am a skier and start to get excited when the temperature drops below 50).  I'm excited about ROBERT'S SNOW: FOR CANCER'S CURE -- a huge, bright, and... you can drop in on Jules at Seven Impossible Things Before Breakfast , whose organization on this project amazes me, and whose belief that written words can help change the world is an inspiration
