Scheduled an interview with Nicole at the therapy/gym portion (Fit By the River) of the Tucson Heart Hospital for Friday, October 10th at 4:45 PM. Finally a job worth my time. Leaving for Phoenix...reminder to myself for the night. Sleep more than a few hours between midnight and sunrise. Everything that was there last night will be there waiting for me to finish in the morning. Prioritize. 

I'm afraid I wont be able to find the time to complete my "Adventures in Car Shopping" series anytime in the near future (just watch, I'll write my remaining entries tomorrow... heh), because of work responsibilities...de la Perianth, a 2009 Toyota Corolla LE. The fuel efficiency, the comfort, the amenities, the luxury.  It's like riding in a hug. No, you cannot drive him.  He's mine, alllllll mine!

*Note: This is not exactly in chronological order, as I technically did one test drive before I did much perusal of the models on my list. Armed with my list and a notebook, I went off in search of the... and I hope to test drive the third this evening. I don’t know when I'll be able to actually make the purchase, but it is entirely possible that I will have made a decision by the end of this week.

Inside the Mazda dealership, waiting for someone to get unbusy and help us out, there was a Mazda 3 Hatchback on display. Busy Dealer: Oh, is that the sort of car you're looking for? Me: *emphatically*... I'll show the card and say, 'look what I was up against!'.  Either way, it's a win-win." - Toyota salesman during test drive, after I handed him one of my Test drive Comment Cards to fill out.

Today, I go car shopping.  This weekend is for test-driving, but since car dealerships are closed by law on Sundays in Pennsylvania, I've got only today and Monday for the marathon-test-driving event.  I...less impressed I am. Let's see...  Spreadsheets, check.  Comment cards, check.  Checklist, check.  Notebook, check. Camera and jellybeans, check.  I think I'm all set. Ready, steady, here I go!

i need to do a little update on the other events from the past three days other than Coco's death. Thank you all once again for the love and care and concern that you have sent our way. It really...sure wish i knew what i did with my white one. Did i leave it in my hotel in California a few months ago? i'm such a scatterbrain. i guess i'll just order a new one. that'll teach me.

I did it. I've gone and gotten myself into debt, and bought a NEW car! After much "wailing and gnashing of teeth" Two and a half weeks of searching dealer inventories and even having the assistants of...Wal~Mart a mile from the house.) Now I (and the Finance company) have a new car! And the winner is.............. The Chevrolet HHR LT 1! The car even has it's own "action figure"! ^-^

Well, actually it's not as bad as all that. But I am exhausted and a little/a lot sad, and also very happy. So, today, at 9am I had an appointment with the car dealer, to which I was late. I figured...part of the evening. Damned shit!  This is the one thing I regret. Alas, life and its little issues have to be taken care of, else they morph into BIG issues. And here are my 4 new wheels-->

*opens the door for Liz to get in and shuts it; then goes into the driver's side and starts it up* This Ford has been a good car, and I hope it gets a nice new home, but I think it would be best if we...that, we could just drop off your car and take mine cruising. Maybe we could go out to London and check out that new flat that we will be moving into. *rolls window down and lights up a cigarette
