Every Monday I take a drive over to Hornell to attend my EMT certification classes. This time, my good 'ol mini-van, Davy Jones, refused to start up to drive back home. Suffice to say, I'm hopefully...nice guys from Alfred state helped out in trying to jump-start my car. When that didn't work, they helped with the tow truck, and gave me a lift home. ... I got to ride in a really nice Camaro ^---
Yesterday before work, I came home and got what I wanted to wear to church today. On my lunch break, I ran up the road to Publix and grabbed stuff I needed to make up a veg tray for hospitality. (Having...the way to the tire repair place. Right now, I'm at the point where I'm too worn out with the perpetual "One damn thing after another" to even freak out about it. After all, tomorrow is another day
First let me start by saying AHHHHHHHHHH! Ok I feel a little better. Hmmmm Where to start.... Well, Nothing for about 2 weeks as gone our way. Plans have fallen through, Either the event is canceled...just add to the big things but thats not what I'm dumping here. Just the bigger things. So thats it on my end. Hopefully the Flood is over and things will get nice and boring for a bit. I need the break
Last night I spent the night in Alhambra at Brian's apartment. Today when I walked downstairs to my car, it would not start. It would go... *Cough* (pause) *Cough* (Pause) *Cough* (Pause)(Pause) *Cough*...that was giving me trouble. Thank goodness. So anyway, now I'm out $166. Not a lot, but it still hurts...especially since I am leaving on vacation on Friday. *groan* Hope those two dresses sell on ebay
Alden, Austin and I were on our way to brunch yesterday when the sidewall of my rear driver's side tire blew out. Luckily Austin was driving and able to pull the car over without much trouble. Dave came...special for this frame is in order. And to me Jane will be just right for it. Come back to see further progress on my 'secret' project involving this portrait of Jane. I can't wait!
Ugh, I know I'm being silly but I'm worried about my hubby. There is a fire in our area and its practically across the street from where hubby works and hes still at work! UGH. I hope the fire fighters...will have at least 3 people on the roof throughout the night. If the place burns down I am out of a job ." I feel like crying or banging my head against something. (sigh) maps.google.com/maps/ms
Leaving the house I woke up bright and early Saturday morning to embark upon my 379 mile road trip with the girls! The day was sunny, crisp and beautiful. The car was clean and serviced. I had gathered...our time at Raven's Grin, will follow! This post stars myself, saribeth and mellydramatic , with special appearances by duality_duel and duraniepoot
Aaaaaaaand the car is back at the dealership. Apparently they're now going to be looking for any number of other things that could be causing a misfire (like loose or corroded wires and whatnot). I...(WHO'S BACK, YAY), and fantastic people with wonderful dogs, with great temperaments. It was just what I needed yesterday. And how could I not love something that makes my dog look just this happy
I'm so horribly glad that John and I are both doing okay (aside fromm the fact that we're both bad off money wise at the moment) I'm glad I finally got to tell him everything I'd been thinking for the...and we were like "WELL SHIT FUCKING HELL WTF LOLOLOL" So here's to owning a car that is less than 10 years old with this new fangled technology that he had no idea it had in it. Yay for a 2005 car.
