Многие рады бы похудеть, чтобы нужно было на предыдущую дырочку ремня застегивать. А вот так чтобы второй раз приходилось ремень оборачивать - это пожалуй черезчур.
...this way. My throat hurts, I am cranky, I keep coughing, I am really down, I've had a headache for 3 days. I hate feeling like this. I just want to curl up in bed with a book and stay there for a few days. What really sucks is I do nothing but run around, tomorrow I have to take my car in to have a transmission fluid leak fixed, then off to trick or treat with the kids. I just want to feel better.
I'm grumpy. My car won't start. I've been working on it all day. The problem is that it's flooded and it's a fuel-injected engine. You're not meant to beable to flood a fuel-injected engine. If however, you drive my car a very short distance (
...the president, and Ingo says, "Yes, my darling, he is the PRESIDENT! At least, we're hoping he will be!" So I bloody extra-especially-hope he is. They are so damn cute, those two. OK, gotta pack the car. Gotta have a shower. Gotta make lamb & fruit chutney samwidges and lemon cordial for the trip. Gotta load the pooch and the kit into the car. And eat cake for breakfast! Where - oh, where - can my...
...IT!!!! Now admittedly a certain Mr Bryan Conolley will not see eye to eye with me here what with it being an Alfa and all but I'm sure he'll accept it's a step-up performance-wise from my current car (I find it amusing it's faster than the Brera from 0-62) and the amount of random gizmo's on it could keep me happy for weeks. Some of the following may or may not be one the car, bear in mind it's...
XP Is all I need to explain today. Power went out last night so I was late to work. Bowser is sick and at the vet right now. T~T My car is dead and when I say dead I mean it. Time to get a new one. I'm not feeling so well. Had nightmares all night. Huge piles of paper work and oh so much more. Today sucks. [Private only viewable to Rufus] I think it was Tammy who talked to the papers she's been...
Still sick. No fever though; so it's manageable. I'm going to go draw comics in a minute. The problem(s) with my car isn't The Big Problem, but still came out to $600 in repairs. I'm putting off the power steering repair, giving Saturn $300+ for a new something belt ($170), battery ($170), and oil change ($20) and getting the heck out of here. I have a convention to attend!
...with the only suit I have which is... a bikini. I guess that's okay?... I'd rather not skip this class, so I guess I don't have a choice. Also, I keep having this love-hate relationship with the Zipcars... I think I just need let it go, lol. It seems to be a lot of heartache every single time I rent a car. This time, I got to the car to find that it was badly dented on one side. In this sort of situation...
It's quite a saga actually. On the way down from Edinburgh, the breakdown truck carrying our car also broke down, at Berwick Upon Tweed. So the cars it was carrying went back to Edinburgh, then again down to the Renault dealership down here. So they didn't actually receive the car until yesterday at some point. We had to take the hire car back today, so went to the dealership along the way. Turns...
...really making friends with them now and look forward to seeing them every morning. I'll miss them next week! 3. This afternoon Tim has taken the older two out with him, to take the keys for the old car round to the Proton garage (getting it back from Handforth Dean is their responsibility now, not ours; hurrah), and to do a few jobs in town. 4. L3 is at home with me, and has got her friend M round...
