The concert was absolutely fabulous! Zeb and I got to the amphitheater at 5 and met up with a guy (Patrick) and a couple of girls (Holly & Kelly) who were also volunteering. We got through the gates...the last song by CC, so it was okay. We retreated to the next section up and found more unoccupied seats to watch Maroon 5 (who I'm not a big fan of, but they put on a good show). So much fun!!

So this is what happens when I decide to drink a doppio macchiato at 3:30 in the afternoon. I swear that I have the lowest tolerance to caffeine in the world. Earlier this evening I was looking up stuff...steak, but there's still the cheese . I refuse to use vegan cheese because I think that it smells, honestly, like ass. I guess that I'll be bookmarking recipes from my Veganomicon cookbook for help

 I spent the weekend in Chicago, going up there for Green Fest.  Green Fest is aparently a national festival of sorts with different cities playing host at different dates.  It's basically a conglomerate...more likely when) I move to Chicago, the car is definitely being sold.  There's just no reason to have one.  The people I saw riding around on their bikes seemed like the smartest people in whole city

Well, I accumulated a lot of stories to share, and now face the daunting task of trying to put them all out here. So, taking a page from my brother's playbook, I'm going to throw them all at you at once...should be an impressive structure when finished, though. OK, since the post turned out to be really long, I'm going to split it into multiple posts, so it's easier for YOU to comment on the stories.

So I had to find this on my own - Inky_Jewel created a slideshow about the question of "is the oil crisis helping to fight global warming, or is it making it worse?" I think that the oil crisis is helping - undeniably we're burning less oil - but, well, just look at the slideshow. Pretty pictures, IJ!

We're starting to notice the effects of Global Warming here and I'm becoming increasingly more worried about it! I have been thinking about selling my car and buying a hybrid, like a Prius, but I've discovered...take $3 per tree, and they plant the trees in your name. So for 49 trees it would cost me $147! That's so much cheaper than buying a new car! Anyway, I just thought I'd share this with all of you :
