So this chinese place next to my house sells these awesome buns that are basically made out of the same stuff that manapua (bao) is made up of.  Except these delcious things are flat and are folded in... orange pepper, lettuce leaf. Bottom: Carrots, grape tomatoes, char siu, ranch dressing in the container. This was the tastiest dinner ever! I froze the rest of the buns for devouring in the future

We've pretty successfully introduced sweet potatos, avocados, and oats. I say that, because, (1) he won't feed himself with his hands or a spoon -- only if I put the sweet tatos or avocados into the...should be introduced as a 2nds food (ie after 9 months). So, I was at Shirokiya last weekened and they had these MONSTER sized karikari ume.  These babies were 50 cents a peice!
