So, once again, I'll never show up at Dance on Tuesday nights, nor at gaming on Wdnesdays...  Will be available to shoot primarily on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays with some possible times on Tuesdays and Wednesdays around noon... More money, better benefits, a (mostly) set work-schedule... Yeah, I'm ready for this.

...end of my contract, i wasn't able to proceed because i  was diagnosed with  potentially developing allergic rhinitis. i am physically fit yet the doctor denied me the pleasure of wanting to continue working as a dealer. it came to a point where i was pushed to the limit and i was mentally forced to ask the opinion and help of dad's longtime friends, which i detested doing more than anything else....

So, I'm done with night-shift for a while (maybe) *. Starting Sunday, I'm working Saturdays through Tuesdays...  Sure, I lose my Saturdays and Sundays, but I'll gain week-nights.  Pretty much all of...to nights for six weeks...  And if the person I think they've got in mind makes a big stink...  they'll probably turn around and ask me to do it.  Being the kind of schlub I am, I'd probably do it.

...to Thursday nights...  On the plus side, it means a chance at an almost-regular sleep schedule, more small-social events on weeknights, time to actually get out to do the business of the day, and actually sleeping at night. The downside includes not working with the night-crew (who rock), losing my weekends, and having to reschedule my vacation-time. In the long-run, I think it's a good move.

Now, you have to understand...  I work security at a casino.  In Canada's equivalent of Florida...  Heavy retirement population....  so guess what our primary patron profile is?  Seniors.  Most of the mare awesome...  They're friendly and have years of stories to help bored security guards pass the time.
