Jenny and I took turns taking pictures during the Cat Power concert. She's obviously a much better photographer than I am. These are a few extra photos from the previous set that I hadn't uploaded but loved in black and white. Chan was sick that night but still pranced around the entire stage. She's so lively during her performances.
Oh, how much I would have paid to see her perform this last night. "She's Got You" was originally performed by Patsy Cline (incase you're wondering, the headband Patsy is wearing is not a horrible... I began to gravitate female vocalists who had powerful and distinctive voices (introduces Céline). It makes me happy to hear Chan covering Patsy because she actually does justice to her memory
Although we arrived early at the Marquee Theater, a line had already started to form and people were sitting around the edge of the building leading into the parking lot. Jenny had been to a few concerts...then walked in front of us, bent closer, and directly handed Jenny the final t-shirt: the black shirt she'd kept over her shoulder. And all Jenny had wanted from that night was the set-list. :)
Scheduled an interview with Nicole at the therapy/gym portion (Fit By the River) of the Tucson Heart Hospital for Friday, October 10th at 4:45 PM. Finally a job worth my time. Leaving for Phoenix...reminder to myself for the night. Sleep more than a few hours between midnight and sunrise. Everything that was there last night will be there waiting for me to finish in the morning. Prioritize.

To get blended colors as in the transition of the sky from dark at the top to light below, I work quickly and don't use retarding medium, while blending with a fan shaped brush.
