Catered the new/visiting international students dinner with Joe Zummo, Aries, and some other cool folks.  Talked to a girl from Spain who is going to be a department aid.  She is from Barcelona.  I...didn't seem to mind so much.  It was nice to have someone for the long walk home so late at night.  Otherwise, who knows, I might have just fallen asleep on the steps of first church or something.

Liz Ahl's poetry reading last week was awesome. She's such a great poet and a powerful performer. I had fun.
