...rotund, in the best way. anyway, he was pretending he remembered being friends with this girl who didnt even go to his school. i thought it was kindof mean but hilarious none-the-less when he apparantly recalled her pet squirrel. \: so idk, anyway. that was it. I've come to feel sorry for the caterpillar, and i'm not really keeping up too well with photoblog. this post took longtime! um, bye then.
~ Ah, I'm worried. The Caterpillar in the cocoon is still half mush and half Caterpillar. Is it supposed to be like this after 2 days of being in that state? The Internet says it can take 2 weeks for a monarch butterfly to emerge from it's cocoon and the duration of a Winter for others but i don't even know if it works at this place I have no idea what kind of this Caterpillar it is... ~ Today, the caterpillar inside its silky cocoon started its disintegration. The top half is currently a dark green lump of mush while it's bottom half still retains the caterpillar segments and legs. It still twitches when i run my finger along the cocoon. I am sorry. ;_; Why are you so cute? I couldn't resist. Oh, i hope i didn't do any irreversible damage or something... The really good thing...
~ " I have more important things to do, like metamorphosis, than care about what environment i am in. " states the Caterpillar, which is now a Chrysalis stuck under the edge of my very ordinary 20 cents plastic container, which i am sure once housed my breakfast of porridge. The last time I bought pea tendrils at the local farmers market, they came with a bonus! I found a tiny green caterpillar. Being a bug lover, I put it in a jar and fed it pea greens, and in a very short time I had a not so tiny caterpillar. Thanks to What's that Bug and the Bug Guide, I know it's destined to become some sort of Sulphur butterfly. It's well on its way, as these photos show: ...
