There is an interesting contrast between Buddhism and Christianity's view on suffering.  With Easter approaching and a recent rereading of Siddhartha, I have been thinking about suffering. As I adhere...modern understanding of Lent is in error.  Is Lent now used for self-improvement as opposed to suffering and closeness to God?  Or have my peers values actually come to Facebook as our defining vice
