Breakstone Lake is the closest body of water to the Xavier Institute where I work, unless you count the swimming pool. The days are warmer now, so we take Gabi out to the lake for a picnic on the weekends if the weather's nice. The dog comes, too, and lazes around in the sun. It's starting to become one of my favorite ways to spend a spring afternoon.
Normal is boring. Quiet is boring. I prefer loud, fun, and if not actually an adventure than definitely as far from normal as I can get. I've repeated days more than twenty times to fill them with interesting things. It's just how I'm wired.

I look over my... "The law is stupid." "The law is what keeps you safe at night." " I keep me safe at night," I say. "Erik, go watch TV and let me finish this." Aryn, trying to figure out why I was taking her picture yesterday: Our 5 month old jelly bean Gabi: I don't necessarily see these two every day, but damn near. Haven't seen 'em in a while actually, considering Aryn, Gabi and I've been in Jamaica, but here's 'Ro and Logan: He don't really like havin' his picture taken... Don't think she even knew someone snapped a picture
I'm probably gonna annoy people with the 'my husband' thing until it doesn't sound weird to my own ears or make me grin like a fool. Actually, it will never not make me grin like a fool. And the not sounding weird to my own ears thing could take a while, just so you know. :P Gabi will be five months old on Friday. Five months. Already. Where the hell did the time go?
This is Nephra. Technically not a person, but she is my friend, and I see her every day. Wesley - We might not see each other every single day, but close to it I don't think he actually knows that I snapped this picture of him with my phone a couple of weeks back. I will neither confirm nor deny I am using it as my wallpaper
