My husband and I are slightly bizarre. We come up with catch phrases that no one else understands and that don't, really, make that much sense. Like Crab-fishing Boat. A few nights ago we were watching...that will always annoy and delight me in equal parts. Hopefully I can recreate the effects in my work. I don't know what I'd do if someone read my books and muttered, "Freaking crab-fishing boats."

I came across this Vin Diesel movie recently and googled it.  It doesn't sound very good (one online reviewer really panned it, but he apparently hates Vin Diesel).  Here's some basic info if anyone's...Yeoh, Gerard Depardieu, and Charlotte Rampling.  There are lots of links to this movie!  Interesting background.  Some people recommended seeing Children of Men instead.  (I've never seen that.)

I just finished watching Children of Men and this morning I finished reading the graphic novel Watchmen . I was blown away by both. Children of Men is overrun with desperation and hopelessness,...just when I'm starting to get really pumped for HP and am at the same time disappointed with the Twilight series. UGGGHHHHHH. SO. Go read Watchmen and watch Children of Men , you won't regret it

I need chick flicks in my life. Or maybe just more of them. My favorite movies: --A Beautiful Mind. It's about a schitzophrenic guy. Enough said. --V for Vendetta. I'm not even going to comment. --Children...of Men. A thousand times more depressing than the above. --K-PAX. Happy movie! Not. It takes place in a nut house. --Pay it Forward. Uh...watch the end. This depresses me. I need more chick flicks

so here we go! I want to start keeping track of all the movies I've watched since joining Netflix, my new bff. The Science of Sleep one word. FANTASTIC! Definitely in my top 5 favorite movies of all...:D yay. Perfect for in-between-movies time. FINITO for today! Next up is Volver, Half Nelson, & Gangs of New York :) p.s. I fucking miss QAF. I need to start re-watching and buy season 4 and 5! aaah
