Linda de Haan and Stern Nigland's *King and King* (2002) and *King and King and Family* (2004) are two of my daughter’s favourite books. I think they hit all the right notes for a two year old. I swear I'm not going to become one of those people who never finish their books, but. Freund, Peter: "Laura und das Geheimnis von Aventerra" This book was chockfull of all the right things: A spunky...the heroine on her horse to the left, presented as a little comic book figure. And at second glance, everything is photoshopped together really haphazardly, with the proportions not matching at all
