So, I have tried to pay attention to the election even from Korea. It's been interesting reading the news, looking at poles, and watching discussions on and dissections of the candidates. Of course, you...that equality acts (when stuck on morals) most generally mean, equality for everyone that isn't Christian. I have to go back to work now, but I will continue on this subject later... to be continued..
...Britain (only around 140 years ago) The Pagan festivals where assimilated by their own. Eostora - Easter yule - Christmas Beltane - Candlemass ...I could go on. More to the point, nobody cares that the Christians changed that date, November 1st is still Sowhein and we will continue to celebrate it... I'm not confused at all, are you ???? I'm all for freedom of speech, but this is is just plain ignorant...
You would not believe the shit these stupid religious people are trying to pull over on me! I live in an apartment complex with a clearly posted "NO SOLICITING" sign out front. That pretty much means...doing the 2a definition. Especially the persistently part. You can tell the woman doesn't give a damn about truth, otherwise she wouldn't be making up definitions to suit her own damn self
...who will step on you time and time again, despite your love for them. But, I honestly don't know about her anymore. It's too complicated. On another note... how do my Christian friends feel about Christians listening to music with swearing? I mean... I don't know. I personally LOVE Three Days Grace. Some of their music does contain stuff about drinking etc. But, I don't know... the guy's voice...
I've begun reading Margot Adler's "Drawing Down the Moon", a book about wicca and paganism. As October draws to a close, a Hallowe'en fast approaches, I find myself drawn towards the beauty of pagan practise...believing in him. Paganism appears to have none of that. Rules are mostly non-existent aside from respecting other people and treating them and yourself with decency. I like that, and can respect it
"If it weren't for Christians, I'd be a Christian." - Mahatma Ghandi As the political race heats up, I find myself becoming more and more frustrated with the Christian populace of the United States. It's all well and good to select a candidate whose views and actions most closely resemble one's own, and to thoroughly and unabashedly disagree with those candidates whose ideologies and approaches are...
Man, I keep having disturbing dreams. A few nights ago I was raped by my next door neighbour in a dream, then the next night I was watching Richard burning at the stake and then last night I had a dream...contradicts itself. It goes on about 'Thou Shalt Not Kill,' and yet what did they do? They killed. They killed so many innocent people. I'm glad I wasn't around in a time of such ignorance. H x
...bad to travel away from here, I guess. The Bible Belt's pretty big. What would I put on the billboard? Maybe, "God or no god, be excellent to each other." Really, I have no problem with people being Christians, as long as they're good to each other. "Whatever keeps you out of trouble" is my stance on Christianity. For those who get into trouble because of their Christianity(or Allah-worship, like...
...there was a little background that was needed before I started asking the questions that are bothering me. Okay, so lately I've been browsing on the web and I've noticed an increasing number of Christians writing anti-Wiccan material. I know that everyone has the right to free speech, but it seems as if - with all this material floating around - everyone is forgetting that people have the right...
