Tomorrow colgaffneyis has an event at a PresbyterianChurch in Hudson, Wisconsin (Just over the St. Croix River from Minnesota), to kick-off their church year. Unfortunately, our own church, St. Mary's Episcopal Church is also starting its church year. So we have a schedule conflict. mia_mcdavid will head out early to Hudson, but I will go to St. Mary's before following her eastward...
...up for that, who, incidentally, is doing a double major in math and music . I think we'll manage to get along. And St. Paul's choir kicks off the year with Darke in F and lots of good hymns tomorrow. After a summer at the HuggingChurch (as I've come to call Digby Baptist; I've never been hugged by so many strangers in my life), I was having serious Anglican chant withdrawal. So shut up, Mia.
Oooo! I'm so excited! Tomorrow I get confirmed in my church (I'm a Presbyterian) and I'm just really happy. I'm one of my few friends that actually goes to church or even believes in God. Me and my other friend though, are bribing our other friends into coming to church with us. Anywho, of course there's a downside. That would be that I tripped coming up my stairs today...
We had 60 Seconds To Fame on Friday, and here are the pictures. Asia Conference 2008! Snapped this while waiting for the bus at airport yesterday. Saw it a couple of times around Orchard, but moving buses make for blurry pictures; this one was stationary for a while.

Today R and I went to the church for a magic show. One of the young chaps that helps out at the summer clubs and the 'Teenzone' Sunday school club does magic and put on a showfor the kids as part of his practise to get into the Magic Circle (I think). He did a good show, and as usual, Callum and the church elders had organised Tea and homebaking for afterwards, and crafts for the kids. I think...
it's DAXINYI'S BIRTHDAY today! haha so nice, falls right on a saturday. my mom brought me to metro before service to buy me a new pair of heels~ haha and my shepherd got me chocolate =3 God, thank you for blessing me with my friends and family. bless these two dear friends of mine so that they may know of your kindness and love. trex, don't be sad
