I went to church early, and for the first time in several weeks was able to sing in the choir—this cold/sinus infection has been rough. A good service, we were celebrating our Rector 's 10 th anniversary...troubles. One thing I found out is that you can use a hole saw with a bit brace , or (better, but the weight is tiring) a breast drill . Either way, cutting through a 2x8 is a good workout

Friday is hard for me. Each workday morning I have to get up earlier than I would like to. So the sleep deficit grows as the week goes on. However, I am generally able to make it through the day. The...family (who also live in Colorado Springs) and my sister and her husband (who live in Denver) are working on this. This is not great news, but it is about as good as it gets under the circumstances

A couple days ago mia_mcdavid suggested that we skip colgaffneyis show in Mankato this weekend. I agreed. As she wrote , we have been both busy and sick lately. While parts were...and that is what counts. I also put away some of our reenactment gear--swords, dirks, my half-pike, and one of the targes. The other is around here somewhere; it did come home from White Bear Lake .

mia_mcdavid is in Mankato for colgaffneyis "Muster" tonight. I will be following her tomorrow afternoon. The reason for the delay is that our church is having "choir camp" tomorrow...It is period anti-war art. .(Actually, I expect Obama to carry colgaffneyis voters by at least a 90/10 margin in November. But some of them are very naïve about what the past was really like)
