I went to my GP, and he confirmed that indeed, my head cold has turned into a chest cold with lung congestion. I'm on antibiotics, and while I hate taking them, I also know that my previous experiences...than pneumonia or a hospitalization. That said: Is there any complementary way to help speed my recovery from this cold of doom? I'm drinking lots of fluids and had been taking zinc (didn't work)
There's a lot in the memories on cold remedies, but I'm not sure how to apply them to this: I had a horrible cold all week. Mostly the cold was gone by Thursday or so, but I'm left with a little congestion... see if that helps, and all the immunity boosters, but anything else? Thanks! my LO has been sick since Monday and has had a constant fever (around 38 centigrade). the doctor says that it's just from a bad cold and prescribed some medicine, which has been keeping her fever under...intervals throughout the day. if the nursing isn't enough to sustain her nutrition, what are some things you could recommend to feed a sick and feverish little girl? thanks in advance! I have chest issues. To the point that I walk into my doctor's and can reliably tell him that I'm getting a chest infection before I start coughing shit up. I get them that often... and I'm starting to...considering ellimination dieting to see if something I'm eating is making things worse but haven't looked too far into it yet as it was a recent thought. Favorite cold remedies? Anything goes. I'm relatively desperate; I'm quite sick and due to a recent family crisis, I really need not be. I know nothing can cure it, but anything to make me feel functional...for the day. so i don't know if i am dealing with a cold or a flu. i suspect flu but am unsure. planning on going to school health center tomorrow. my question is when people use olive leaf oil or oregano oil. is one anti bacterial and one anti viral? both? personal experiences? sorry for not being super coherent, slow from fatigue and fever.

Our family has been hit hard by the cold and flu season this year. Right before we went on the cruise Sara and I got a little sick. After the cruise Joe, Dallin and I got colds while Sara got pink eye...sick with diseases. My friend said, " I don't think you have diseases." Sara nodded solemnly, "I have had contagious three times." LOl I thought that was cute. :) Hope you are all staying healthy
ursh is feeling rather sick today.. so i decided to make some soup to cure what ails her. i thought that i remembered that nadz0r had posted her secret formula.. but alas.. twas not here...parsley, the chicken, salt and pepper, some cumin, and some turmeric. - add whatever else you want, cause the more (veg) the merrier. simmer until its all soft, and combined, and awesome.. wicked
