All good news to report on day two. I really shouldn't be surprised at how many people fit into the Oval. In November 1991, I was there when Dr. Thomas Sutherland came home to Fort Collins after being held hostage in Lebanon for six years...the Oval was absolutely packed. I took the fastest route back home. Fortunately. Otherwise I woulda missed a wildfire! Just before I got to Penrose, CO on CO115, I could see a large cloud of smoke. It was rising from Table Mountain ...emergency vehicles. The BLM had been doing some controlled burns in this area but at one point in the video, I could see actual flames for 2 or 3 seconds.
